Kathleen Winter's story collection, boYs (Biblioasis), won the Metcalf-Rooke award and the 2008 Winterset Award. Her novel Annabel, published June 2010 by House of Anansi Press, became a #1 bestseller in Canada and was a finalist for the Scotiabank Giller Prize, the Governor General's Award for Fiction, and the Rogers Writers' Trust Award. Internationally, Annabel has been published by Jonathan Cape in London and Grove Atlantic/Black Cat in New York, and has been sold to Italy, France, Germany, the Netherlands and China.
