Jonathan Bennett is the author of the 2001 novel After Battersea Park; a collection of poetry published by ECW, Here is my street, this tree I planted; and a collection of short stories, Verandah People, which was runner up for the Danuta Gleed Literary Award, for best first collection of Canadian short fiction in the English language. Jonathan teaches writing at Trent university. Originally from Sydney, Australia, he now lives and writes in Peterborough, Ontario.
