Kilby Smith-McGregor lives and works in Toronto. Her writing has appeared in The Cyclops Review and Dublin Quarterly. "Fluorescence," her first published full-length short story, can be found in the winter 2010 issue of Brick. Kilby is a graduate of York University’s Creative Writing Program and is working toward her MFA through the University of Guelph. She received the RBC Bronwen Wallace Award for Emerging Writers from the Writer's Trust of Canada for "The Bird in Hand."
